Arvind Kumar is a Postdoctoral Fellow at New Mexico State University, specializing in algebra, combinatorics, and their applications to coding theory and matroid theory. While his primary research focus is in pure mathematics, he is increasingly interested in the broader impacts of these areas on applied mathematics, particularly in data reliability and combinatorial structures.

In his teaching and outreach activities, Dr. Kumar emphasizes active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. He remains excited about opportunities to build interdisciplinary connections between mathematics and emerging technologies like AI, both in research and education.
