Dr. Melinda Shane is a Visiting Faculty member in the Counseling and Educational Psychology Department at New Mexico State University. With over 30 years of experience as a school psychologist, educational diagnostician, and special education consultant, she focuses on practical, ethical, and innovative applications of technology to improve psychological and educational practices. She actively integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into her teaching, assessment, communication, and course development, with a growing interest in research related to therapeutic interventions and professional sustainability in school psychology.
