I am a mosquito biologist. My research focuses on mosquito-malaria interactions using functional genomics approaches. Currently, we are developing a project to explore the immunometabolic impact on the epigenetic modifications in mosquito-malaria interactions. We will use AI/Deep learning models to identify epigenetic modifications mediated by histone lactylation caused by lactate in response to the malarial parasite infection in mosquitoes.
