I am a Research Scientist at New Mexico State University, specializing in sustainable crop production systems and natural resources conservation. I study soil water dynamics, carbon, and nutrient cycling in the agroecosystem with the goal of improving soil health and optimizing resource use efficiency. I integrate machine learning and process-based modelling approaches to advance our understanding and management of agricultural systems.
Our recent publication was based on use of machine learning models for predicting greenhouse emissions and identifying key-drivers of the carbon and nitrogen losses from agroecosystem.
