Marija Dimitrijevic is a College Associate Professor and Criminal Justice Program Coordinator, with over twenty years of experience in online education, curriculum development, and student success initiatives. Her contributions to AI integration primarily focus on adopting emerging technologies—such as Virtual Reality (VR) and AI-driven learning tools—into online criminal justice education to enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and experiential learning.
Marija has spearheaded initiatives using VR and AI-based simulations to provide students with immersive learning experiences that bridge theory and practice. She actively collaborates with instructional designers to implement AI-supported platforms for course development, assessment, and faculty training, helping advance the adoption of AI in online education environments.
